313 frank house

Type 2 variation on 1959 Topps 313 Frank House.  It might not seem that a variation could be a “correct” card, but in this case it is.  On the back of the card, in the HR column associated with the YEAR 1954 and 1955, and in the line between the HR and RBI columns, there is normally a small oval area of missing print.  On the variation card, the printing is full and intact.  The “full print” version is difficult to give a frequency estimate of, but it probably occurs on less than 5% of cards.  The HR column for 1954 should read 9 and the HR column for 1955 should read 15.
